It would be a bit weird for Dolph to tell Anita not to kill anyone this month if she hadn't killed anyone the previous month either, and presumably Anita would have then pointed out that instead of resorting to counting weeks.
On the same grounds it's likely that this novel falls on June instead of early July. This novel is set about six weeks after the previous one, based on a conversation between Dolph and Anita where she claims she hasn't killed anyone in nearly seven weeks.
